15 minutes near Amsterdam. Influenced by the 70's disco,
funk and early 80’s rap and hip hop, an interests in making
music was born. Thijs frequently accompanied his father during his work for Dutch radio stations.
Often he was found in a broadcast studio, sitting
behind de large professional mixing desks, playing with faders and countless knobs.
It started with recording the Dutch famous Soul Show and music played on Decibel radio. Using multiple tape decks and record players, dubbing and (re)mixing was a whole lot of fun.
In 1983 Thijs got introduced with a Roland TR drum computers.
From that moment on he knew his mission, making electronic music.

The first release was an 10inch recording on the Dutch dance label Mulatto, titled Groovacious by The Additive. A couple of releases followed on Mulatto. After those they signed an publishing and label deal with Dutch dance label Tremolo. There first release on Tremolo was Damiate by Loud and Clear.
After finishing the label deal, Roel focused on his DJ work and Thijs continued producing for labels such as Spinnin and Fresh Fruit.
Menno Kloeth aka Manolo Mendez joined Thijs in 1999. There mutual ideas of disco influences and filter techniques resulted in several releases on Fresh Fruit Records. Menno and Thijs even made Carl Cox go wild on there Fresh Fruit release Tribal Tunes by la Voix Du Monde. Carl Cox played this track at Dance Valley festival in 1999 en throughout his gigs.
After a fun and successful collaboration Menno continued his DJ career and is responsible for the successful Reborn party's.
